About Me

I’m Bee — blogger, systems-thinker, and the person who will absolutely turn a life decision into a spreadsheet before breakfast.

I live in Michigan with my husband Devon and our kids, Atlas and Willow (who is Devon’s bonus daughter and my daugther). I moved here from Ireland in 2021, which means I still measure distance in walking time, miss proper bread, and remain emotionally attached to cloudy weather.

By day I work as a finance and business advisor, which mostly means I help people untangle messy ideas and turn them into plans that actually function in real life. I’ve always been fascinated by how things work — money, organizations, habits, people — and blogging became my outlet for explaining those patterns in a human way instead of a corporate one.

I’m autistic and have ADD, so my brain is equal parts hyper-focused and idea-generator. I notice details most people skip, question systems most people accept, and accidentally build frameworks for everything. Writing is how I sort that noise into something useful (or at least entertaining).

Around here you’ll find thoughts on money, building things that last, raising humans, and figuring out how to design a life instead of just reacting to one.
